Do you know how Blenheim got its name? Or who purchased 480 acres of Blenheim land in 1777? Or why it might not be a good idea to wander into the boxwood shrubbery after dark?
Blenheim Vineyards is offering a special historical tour of the farm property as part of the rich history of the Monticello AVA for the Taste of Monticello Wine Trail Festival. History enthusiast Marcia Strait will describe the rich past of Blenheim, leading an outdoor tour and also entrance into The Library. The tour will conclude with a private wine tasting inside the Chapel.
Tickets are $25/person and can be purchased here.
