Our Tailgate Thursday summer music series continues on July 13 with Burrito Riders League!

urrito Riders League came together in the spring of 2015, after Richmond (VA)-area musician Slim Stanton loudly opined on Facebook, something to the effect of: "Before I die I need to play in a 1970s country-rock cover band." Immediately, singer-songwriter Paulo Franco took up the challenge. Despit their songwritting talend, it's all country-rock covers. The repertoire includes song from: Gram Parsons, Pure Prairie League, The Band, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Eagles, and more!

We'll continue to fire up the grills every Thursday through August 31 from 6 to 9 pm. Bring your own food to grill and enjoy a fun, laid back night at the vineyard. With free admission and live music on the patio, it's the perfect way to start your almost-weekend. Don't forget to pack lawn games and picnic blankets, and children and leashed dogs are welcome!

Meat from Free Union Grass Farm can be purchased and thawed by calling ahead. General thaw times are 20 to 40 minutes. For larger cuts and whole chickens, calling a day in advance is suggested.
