Fallen Tree Vineyard

Fallen Tree Vineyard has 180 Degree Valley and Mountain Views: Our namesake is inspired by a great maple tree that drew us to this special place that became Fallen Tree Vineyard. Unfortunately, that maple tree was mistakenly taken down during the vineyard installation. Its roots, bark and fallen leaves are now part of our vineyard.

Located in Crozet, Virginia, in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Fallen Tree Vineyard is a family-owned winery offering small-batch wines, guided tastings, and panoramic mountain views. Situated in the Monticello American Viticultural Area (AVA), the vineyard offers a relaxed setting for visitors exploring Charlottesville wine country.

The winery's name comes from a majestic maple tree that originally drew its owners to the property. Although the tree was removed during vineyard development, its roots, bark, and leaves remain part of the land.

Fallen Tree produces a diverse selection of Virginia wines, including Chardonnay, Viognier, Petit Manseng, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Meritage, and sparkling wines. Its portfolio includes award-winning Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot, along with red blends and Rosé.
