Chiswell Farm & Winery is owned and operated by the Chiles Family of Carter Mountain Orchard and Chiles Peach Orchard. The Chiles’ have been growing wine grapes and supplying many Virginia wineries for 30+ years and are thrilled to present their own wines. The estate home on the property is currently being used as the tasting room.

Winemaking Philosophy:
Chiswell is proud to present very approachable wines that show off our best varietals. Our vineyard is managed by Huff Chiles and Henry Chiles, and our wines are made by Michael Shaps and Matthieu Finot.

Sparkling: Sparkling Chardonnay, Sparkling Rosé
Whites:
Chardonnay - medium body, dry, 2/3 french oak, 1/3 stainless,
Petit Manseng (both sweet and dry styles),
Sauvignon Blanc
Rosé: Cabernet Sauvignon-based, off dry
Reds:
Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc
Merlot and Meritage

Open: Wed- Sunday11am-5:30pm
Open after hours on Saturday’s until 7:30pm for Members and their guests.
Closed: Thanksgiving Day & Christmas Day
Open: Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day

Tasting Fee:
Wine available in flights, by the glass, and by the bottle. Pricing varies.
Group Tasting Policy: please call ahead for groups larger than 8.
