Woodbrook Farm Vineyard
Family owned/operated vineyard and tasting room located in Montpelier Station, Virginia near historic James Madison’s Montpelier. What once was a thriving Thoroughbred racehorse training facility is now home to Woodbrook Farm Vineyard’s Training Barn Tasting Room. Our vineyard was planted in April 2022. The initial planting covers 5 1/2 acres and includes the following varietals: Petit Manseng, Pinot Gris, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Sauvignon. We would love for you to come visit to hear more of the stories of our history, see beautiful views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, and most importantly taste great wines. Woodbrook Farm Vineyard is tucked away in the northeastern tip of the Monticello Wine Trail.

Winemaking Philosophy:
Woodbrook Farm Vineyard, together with the team at Michael Shaps Wineworks, create artisanal, small production wines from grapes grown at some of the most prestigious vineyards in and around the Monticello AVA. The whites focus on pure varietal expression with respect to each vintage. Our reds range from soft and nuanced bottlings of Cabernet Franc to bold and expressive Petit Verdot. All of our wines show a respect, understanding and curiosity for the land around us and the flavors, aromas and textures they bring to the glass.

Tasting Room Hours:
Thursday - Saturday: 11 am - 7 pm and Sunday: 1 - 6 pm
Tasting fee: We offer traditional tastings at the bar or flights to sit in the tasting room of the customers choice. 2 Tasting options (Reserve Tasting $20; Pick Your Own 4 $14)

Private (including but not limited to weddings): Our venue is available for private events such as weddings, corporate dinners, bridal showers, etc. For inquiries, please email or call at the number provided above.
Food Available:
Light fare - cheese and crackers; charcuterie items, hummus and crackers. Food trucks are available during special events. Local restaurants that have a delivery service in the town of Orange will deliver to our venue. You are welcome to bring your own picnic when food trucks are not available.

We are dog friendly. Dogs will need to be on leashes at all times.
