Culinary Class: Cast Iron Cookery @ Pippin Hill Farm & Vineyards

From skillets to griddles and grill pans, cast iron cookware offers endless options in the kitchen. The one downside of cast iron cookery? Rusty pans. In this class, Executive Chef Ian Rynecki will teach you how to clean and recover your rusted cast iron before seasoning the newly clean pan. With some culinary magic, we’ll then cook sweet and savory dishes in the newly seasoned pan. Following the hands-on demonstration, we’ll sit down together to enjoy a family-style dinner with Chef Ian Rynecki.

Featured Wine

We are “pairing” each class with a featured wine. You will have your choice of 2 glasses of red or white wine that evening. Let us recommend the Petite Verdot or Sauvignon Blanc for this evening.
