Septenary Winery
The storied tradition of Seven Oaks Farm, which began in the 1700’s with the opening of one of Virginia’s first taverns, continues today with Septenary Winery. Located at historic Seven Oaks Farm in Greenwood, Septenary is a family-owned winery providing world class wines in a unique, adults-only setting.
We are currently offering wine by the glass, bottle, or a tasting flight. Picnic packs are available for purchase which include a selection of snacks to enjoy with your wine.
Please check in with the host upon arrival to be seated at your table.
Reservations are required for groups of 6 or more, no groups of more than 10.

Winemaking Philosophy:
At Septenary, we rely predominantly on Old World winemaking techniques while taking advantage of the complimentary terroir of our two different vineyards to produce wines grounded in history but appealing to the updated palate.

Sparkling: Blanc de Blanc
Whites: Chardonnay, Viognier
Rosé: Dry rosé from Syrah or Cabernet Franc
Red: Bordeaux-style red blends, individual varietals

Closed: Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day
Tasting Fee:
Currently not offering Tastings; wine available by the glass, bottle, or flight option for outside service.
Group Tasting Policy:
Groups of 6 or more require reservation. No groups larger than 10 people.
Food Available:

Second Saturdays at Septenary, May - October: Live music featuring local artists from 3-5pm.
